Description Recorder and AD/DA converter Tascam DA-3000 Ultra-compact rack recorder (1U) stereo master and AD/DA signal converter perfect for studio, mastering and broadcast. The recording format used is solid state SDHC or CF. The converters are the well-known Burr-Brown ones and the preamplification section was created by choosing the best performing components on the market. Playback is "zero-noise" type, i.e. without cooling fans or moving mechanical parts. The unit supports recording frequencies up to PCM 192 kHz and DSD 5.6 MHz. The system (TCXO), High-precision Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators and the dual monaural converters (with independent circuitry for each channel) ensure top quality performance for both playback and recording. It is possible to connect (link) multiple DA-3000 units in series (cascade) to make multi-channel/multi-track recordings. A complete input/output complement is available to connect the device in virtually any setup. An OLED display equipped with LED level meters allows precise display of signals even from very narrow angles and in situations of poor lighting and visibility. The DA-3000 is equipped with a wireless remote control and also offers the possibility of connecting a computer keyboard to facilitate the use of the device.
